If you don't test your pages using different screen resolutions, your page may be stretched to fit a large screen, or be cropped to fit a small screen.

When I built my first personal web site in 1999, the majority of visitors (58%) arriving my site used a display resolution of 800x600, 22% used 1024x768. This situation has changed, and today, 48% used 1024x768, 8% used 800x600.

I just released a new site - ScreenResolution.org to collect the screen solution information from internet users. it shows the screen resolution of your current monitor, provides screen resolution realtime statistics since Dec 12, 2008.

    • Video and audio glitches were among the most common bugs fixed during the beta period.

    • Google Chrome starts up fast, loads pages quickly, and just keeps getting faster.

  • Bookmark manager and privacy controls.

    • Better bookmark features were a top request from our users. It's now easier to switch between another browser and Google Chrome with the bookmark import and export features, and we added a new simple way to manage large numbers of bookmarks, too.

Install Black Google Chrome Theme

  1. Download Black Google Chrome Theme first.
  2. Uncompressed the zip file to your local folder. Each zip file contains two files: the Google Chrome Theme file called "default.dll" and help document called "readme.htm"
  3. Close Google Chrome if you haved launched it.
  4. Replace your original default.dll(I suggest you make a backup of the original first). Here's the path where you need to replace the file:
    • In Vista: C:/Users/{User name}/AppData/Local/Google/Chrome/Application/{current version}/Themes/

    • In Windows XP: C:/Documents and Settings/{User name}/Local Settings/Application Data/Google/Chrome/Application/{current version}/Themes/

  5. Restart your Google Chrome.
