BO.LT is a web-based tool that enables you to save, organize and share stories, articles and vacation plans. You can gather great design examples, gift ideas, useful tips and any other meaningful content you find on the Web and save it all within your own personal, permanent collection. The BO.LT Chrome extension was launched in September, but the UI was revamped and re-released just last month.
When you share with BO.LT, you express yourself with every page you share. Every page you copy and add is your personal, permanent replica, to which you can attach your profile picture, your comment, and an invitation to explore what you care about. If you get inspired, you can even edit the page content and images before you share it.
The BO.LT Chrome extension is the quickest way to copy, save and share pages.
Press the button to instantly copy the interesting/educational/humorous/newsworthy page you’re viewing to save it to your BO.LT gallery. It's better than a bookmark because the page is copied and frozen as is, so you'll still be able to reference the content if the publisher changes or removes that page.
If you'd like, you can then personalize the short URL, add a comment to tell others why it is interesting (your comment will stick to the page) and choose if you’d like to share the page on Twitter and/or Facebook.
A free BO.LT account is required (http://bo.lt/) and the extension can be downloaded at Chrome web store.
