Google removed PageRank Status temporarily, because of Single Purpose issue

September 14, 2014 20:00 PDT

PageRank Status is a really SEO extension for Google Chrome to easily access the Google PageRank (PR), Alexa Rank, Compete Rank and Quantcast Rank of the current web page, in addition to getting information on backlinks, indexed pages, cached pages, socials, Whois, Geo IP location and more. It supports over 30 languages and now the top 1 SEO extension for Chrome.

Unfortunately, Google removed PageRank Status from Chrome Web Store temporarily, because of Single Purpose issue. They told me that PageRank Status has too many features and I must split this extension to different extensions according Google new policy.

I am very confused, as you know, the purpose of this extension is helping webmaster to easily access the SEO stats, there is no any unrelated features in my extension. :(

I am working for restoring PageRank Status to Chrome Web Store, it maybe available after 4~7 business days.

Thank you for your support and understanding!

Updated on 17, 2014: PageRank Status is now available on Chrome Web Store, and it renamed to Open SEO Stats because of Google Single Purpose issue.

Hi Andrew, I think someone in Google is having a bit of 'fun' with you. If 'Single Purpose' is the issue, why is a similar browser extension webrankstats.com still available.

Take a look, it is (almost) exactly like PR, but without those additional tool links, or without sogou, yandex index pages, etc.

Just check with Google if it is the webmaster tools 'links' for Yandex, etc. which is the issue.

Hello admin, I really like your extension, because it helps me to analyze my website. I was surprised when a few days I did not find your extension in the Chrome WebStore.

However, now it appears again, but with very minimal features. I have a suggestion for you, because I also found a similar extension that is very similar to yours. Check it out:

I hope that your extension will be better in the future and more comprehensive features. Information on the title, metatags, site keywords, reputation/security, social integration was very useful.
